Description
Overview
Snowmigo is a complete snowboard training system for toddlers and young kids. It lets you guide, slow, and steer your child while they stand in a natural snowboarding stance, so they feel the board and the snow instead of sitting in a sled or riding between your legs. You stay in control behind the board. They get the sensation and confidence of riding in front.
Who it is for
Parents and caregivers who want to introduce kids to snowboarding between roughly ages two and five, under direct supervision.
Instructors or family members who want a safer, more controlled way to manage toddlers on magic carpets, beginner areas, and mellow green runs.
What Snowmigo does
Keeps your child centered, stable, and balanced on the board while you manage speed and direction from behind.
Reduces the physical wrestling that usually comes with teaching small kids on snow, so you can focus on fun and safety instead of constantly bending over and grabbing jackets.
Creates a clear progression: first with full guidance using the handle, then gradually releasing control as your child learns to ride more independently.
What is included in the kit
One Snowmigo mounting plate designed to sit low and stable on the board.
Adapter and hardware system for attaching the plate to compatible kids’ snowboards according to the included instructions.
Detachable multi-segment handle with ergonomic grip so an adult can guide from behind the rider.
Connector system between plate and handle for quick attach and detach.
Full hardware set matched to the plate and adapter system.
Printed setup guide with step-by-step mounting and adjustment instructions.
Key benefits for parents
You control speed and direction while your child stands in a natural position.
Less strain on your back and arms compared with holding your child up by their jacket.
Clear control for crowded green runs and busy beginner zones.
A more predictable experience for small kids, which reduces meltdowns and increases time on snow.
Key benefits for kids
They feel like real snowboarders from day one instead of passengers.
They learn balance, edge awareness, and stance while feeling safe and supported.
Short, positive runs build confidence and make them want to go back up for more.
How to use Snowmigo
Mount the Snowmigo plate to a compatible kids’ snowboard using the included adapter and hardware, following the step-by-step guide.
Adjust the stance width and angle for your child according to the instructions and recommended ranges.
Attach the handle, position yourself behind the board, and use gentle pressure on the handle to guide speed, direction, and balance.
Start on flat areas and magic carpets first, then progress to very mellow green runs as your child becomes more stable and comfortable.
Always supervise closely and remove the handle only when you are confident they can slide safely in a controlled environment.
Recommended age and sizing
Intended for young children who can stand and walk independently and can wear properly fitted snowboard boots.
Designed primarily for the toddler to early elementary range, roughly ages two to five, with actual suitability depending on size, strength, and coordination.
Always follow your resort’s rules regarding minimum age for lifts and terrain.
