SNOWMIGO was developed in Crested Butte, Colorado through Western Colorado University’s Outdoor Industry MBA capstone program. Built by a snowboard instructor at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and guided by experienced faculty, it moved beyond concept work into prototyping and real on-snow refinement. The result is a practical training tool designed around how beginners actually learn, with a clear path from a rigorous academic build to real mountain use.
